To determine the LF needed for your project, Multiply SF * 12, then divide by the finished board width. See the table below that also includes 1/4” of board spacing in all LF amounts.
-
All millwork products are sold in packs containing a random assortment of 6-12’ pieces. Because of this, we recommend ordering 20% overage on all projects.
Use the Quantity field above to select total Linear Footage needed for your project. Quantity here is measured as 100 LF. (Example: Quantity = 1 is 100 Linear Feet). If you have specific length requirements, please reach out to us directly. Please see the Square Foot (SF) to Linear Foot (LF) Conversion Table above to find the specific quantity needed for your project
-
On top of these SF > LF estimates, we recommend ordering 20% over measured sizing to allow for material loss in offcuts.

All orders will be ready for pick up at our Baltimore, MD warehouse within 4 weeks. If you are in need of shipping, a representative will follow up after you submit your order with a custom quote. If the shipping quote is unsatisfactory, you can receive a full refund.

For optimal protection, it is advisable to apply an exterior oil-based decking finish. We recommend CUTEK® EXTREME, a high-performance, oil-based wood stabilizer with a unique self-healing effect. Penetrating deeply into wood, CUTEK® Extreme highlights the natural grain and beauty of wood while providing robust and long-lasting protection. Applied as a clear oil will allow wood to naturally silver over time. Mixing in one of the 18 CUTEK® Colortones will help enhance and maintain the natural look of your wood or alter your wood color to meet preferred hues.

Thermal modification alters the sugars within wood, yielding rich, deep hues throughout the entire thickness. While it retains its natural grain and distinctive traits, exposure to outdoor elements causes it to patina when left untreated, similar to most exterior natural woods. Applying a UV protector is recommended to include in your finish option to preserve its initial color.

Thermally modified wood decking stands as an environmentally conscious alternative to composite and chemically treated decking. Due to its reduced susceptibility to water absorption, expansion/contraction, rot, and decay, even softwoods that are typically unsuitable for outdoor use exhibit extended durability. The process of thermal modification alters the naturally occurring sugars in the wood, resulting in captivating, rich tones that permeate the material's entire thickness.
Although it is true that thermally modified wood decking moves much less than exotic hardwoods, minor movement in the boards is possible. The superior design advantage ThermoClip™ Hidden Deck Fastener brings over other hidden fasteners, is the absence of any aggressive sharp metal teeth that can dig in, gouge the board, and cause breakage. Whereas the ThermoClip™ deck fastener clip is smooth, made from Polyethylene, and allows the wood to expand and contract freely without worry of board breakage or screws snapping.
Attachement & Spacing:
ThermoClip™ hidden deck fastener legs automatically set consistant board gaps to 1/4" spacing. A 90 degree stainless steel screw through the fastener holds the decking tight to the joist, allowing the thermally modified wood the freedom it needs without breakage.
Strength made simple. The DeckWise® brand of stainless decking screws is a great way to ensure hardwood and composite deck boards stick tight to the joist. As part of the DeckWise® line of deck building products,
DeckWise® Colormatch decking screws are made from high-quality 305 grade stainless steel for optimum performance with hardwoods and composite decking material.
